For sites that need to do more: online stores, booking systems, member areas, or anything with custom functionality. We scope the build together before anything is signed, and you get a quote upfront. No surprises.

Standard builds are scoped before they're quoted; after you submit, we'll likely need a short conversation before a price is confirmed.

FAQ

Common questions.

Do I own my site files?

It depends on the tier. With Basic and Standard, hosting is an ongoing service; the files stay with us, and the site stays live as long as you're on the plan. If you want your files on Basic, that's available as a paid add-on. With Build & Handoff, the files are yours outright. That's the whole point of the tier.
What happens if I cancel?

On the Basic tier, your site goes offline and no files are provided. On Standard, a one-time file export is available for a fee. Either way, there's no lock-in beyond the billing period; just let us know you want to stop and we'll wind things down cleanly.
How long does a Basic site take?

Most Basic sites are live within two weeks of receiving everything we need from you. The main variable is how quickly you can supply content: text, images, links, and anything else that needs to be on the page. The faster you can send that over, the faster we can build.
Do I need to provide the content?

Yes, you'll need to supply your own text, photos, and any other material that goes on the site. You're also confirming that you hold the rights to anything you send us. We'll guide you on what we need through the intake form, and we can let you know if something is missing before we start.
What if I need changes after the site launches?

Small changes (a text update, a new link, a swapped image) are handled at our discretion as part of the ongoing relationship. Anything larger is scoped and quoted before work begins, so there are no surprises. We don't bill by the hour; all change work is priced per scope.
Can I use my own domain?

Yes. By default, Basic Tier sites are hosted on a yourname.quockerwodger.ca subdomain. If you'd prefer your own domain (yourname.com, yourband.ca, etc.), we can set that up: either by registering one for you or by pointing one you already own. Custom domain setup is an add-on, starting from around $20/year for registration plus a setup fee.
Do I need to sign a contract?

Yes, a plain-language service agreement is signed before any work begins. It's written to be readable, not intimidating. It covers what's included in your tier, how file ownership works, how changes are handled, and what happens if either of us wants to end things. No surprises buried in the small print.
Is there a setup fee for Basic?

No. The build is included in the monthly rate; no separate charge to get started. The $40/month covers both the build and the ongoing hosting. If you pay annually ($420/year), you save $60 and get a full month free.
